Elina V (b.1987, Odessa) is an English painter of Russian descent currently living and practicing in West London.

Drawing inspiration from a number of wide-ranging influences such as folklore, psychedelia and anatomy, V uses oil dots to create her dreamscapes and unique brand of pop surrealism.

Her aesthetic is derived from the playful use of colour and pointillist technique. The precise and orderly application of dot detail to canvas is a direct contrast to the ambiguity, chaos and unfathomable nature of both the subject matter and the origins of creation.
